All Boys must Think Big
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you won’t.
If you like to win, but don’t think you can,
It’s almost certain that you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost,
For out in the world you’ll find
Success begins with a person’s will;
It’s all in your mind.

For many a game is lost
Before even a step is run
And a person who is weak fails
Before their work has begun.

Think big and you will grow;
Think small and you will fall.
Think that you can and you will;
It’s all in your mind.

If you think people are better than you, they are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself
Before you can win the prize.

Life’s successes don't always go
to the strongest or fastest person
But sooner or later the person who wins
Is the person who thinks he can.
Come on boys don’t let the girls get the better of you.
Think Big – Think Reading – Think of Improving yourself.

A big words for a Big teacher, I liked what you said especially in this chapter:

If you think people are better than you, they are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself

This can effect the child in many ways.

Pretty powerful! I do not believe this only pertains to boys I think it applies to all humans (children and adults).

Yes Debby you are right, it applies to all humans (children and adults). I was just making it concentrated on boys for this web site but boys do need a metforical kick up the ass, they seem to have given up and are letting the girls get the better of them. Female libaration has created many problems for boys today, don't you think.
